I’m New

Welcome to Knox Evangelical Presbyterian Church, located in Kenmore, NY!

When you come through the doors for the first time, you may be a visitor, but every time after that, you are part of our family. Knox Church has a reputation of being a warm fellowship of believers who are actively involved in making our community better and ministering to others in the name of Jesus Christ. We boldly yet carefully preach Biblical truth in a way that is easy to understand and useful to apply to daily life.

You are welcome here

One question that a lot of people ask when coming to a church is, “Do I belong here? Will I fit in? Are there things I have to believe before I come?”

Our attitude is simple: Everyone is welcome. Everyone belongs.

While Knox holds to firm views on the Bible and the Trinity, Jesus established his church as a place for all to come and find rest, love, and guidance. No matter what your walk of life is, no matter what your past, no matter your situation, this is a place where arms are open wide and a message of grace, love, and forgiveness is shared freely.

Planning your first visit

If you would like to speak to Pastor Justin Olivetti ahead of your visit, please call him during office hours at (716) 873-2423 or email him at pastor@knoxepc.com to introduce yourself and ask any questions you like about the church.

Knox Church is located at 2595 Elmwood Ave in Kenmore, NY. There is ample parking in our lot behind the church, and we even have a few special spots reserved for newcomers. We have Sunday school for all ages at 9:00 a.m. (just come in the door and ask for directions), although on your first visit, you may want to start out with our fellowship time at 10:00 a.m. in the church lobby. Grab a snack and a welcome packet, and let us get to know you!

Do you need a Bible? We make free copies available on the welcome table to those who don’t have their own personal Bible.

Our worship service begins at 10:30 a.m. in the sanctuary and features great music, a children’s message, a choir anthem, scripture reading, prayer, and a message from Pastor Justin. Child care is provided free of charge during the service in our education wing.
